35 years? Happy anniversary

Feels like yesterday we were on our first real date, riding to Champaign with college friends to see R.E.M. in concert (a band I wasn't familiar with at the time but a mutual friend said, "You really should go.") Today we're celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary. We celebrated Sunday night with dinner at Frontera Grill. We arrived with two minutes to spare for happy hour-priced margaritas and the bartender took care of us.
We sat on the patio.
I loved the big Christmas lights.
We both ordered newer items on the menu.
I had the chicken breast (pollo en salsa de chile guajillo y cereza) and Andy had the pork shoulder (poc chuc), suggested by our friendly bartender. Everything was delicious. I even liked the grilled bok choy that came with my chicken. Andy's dinner came with habanero sauce and, wow, was that hot!
We splurged on two desserts - chocolate pecan pie for me and flan with peaches for Andy. As I said, you're not going to be married for 35 years to anyone else, but technically if he married someone at 60 and lived somehow to be 95 ... but, nah.
Interesting that Andy golfs (too much) and this popped up in my FB feed as we celebrate 35 years. Hmmm. This hits a little too close to home.
