My friend L from church recently gave me a bird feeder her condo wouldn't let her put up (boo, hiss!). Lucky me though - it was such a nice surprise! We took our time figuring out where to put it and settled on a spot by the fence under the neighbor's tree where a lot of birds like to hang out. We bought a pole and Andy dug 2 feet down to secure it in the ground. I plan to paint it brown to match the house trim but that will probably have to wait till fall, if not spring.
On Saturday, Andy put the feeder up.
Our first visitor was a cardinal! We might have to turn it more toward the house. It seems to be notifying us when cars drive past.
