We were back in Magic Kingdom today. We soent the morning in the pool and got to MK just before linchtime and it was already hot. We saw a parade as we entered. Notice the guy in the picture with the cooling towel on his head.
We even rode the train just to get a breeze. It was Saturday so the park was crowded. We rode Pirates of the Caribbean and sat in the Tiki Room for the talking bird show. We were trying to stay cool and stay long enough to have our queue for Tron called. Once we rode Tron we went back to the resort to cool off with more pool time before dinner.
Instead of driving our rental we decided to take the boat from Old Key West to Disney Springs. That was a mistake. There was a medical situation at the Disney Springs dock so the boat couldn't dock right away. The captain said people with dinner reservations should call the restaurants and tell them they'd been delayed. Andy tried calling Maria and Enzo's where we had reservations but it took forever to get through then Disney dining said they have no way to reach the restauarant.
We raced through the crowd (more people than Magic Kingdom) and they let us in. We weren't too far past our reservation. I knew it wouldn't be a problem regardless of when we showed up but Andy was already ticked off. You enter from the street then walk down two levels into the seating area.
This was a salad for two.
Andy had the spaghetti and meatballs and I had the chicken parmesan. Fortunately, the boat ride back to Old Key West was uneventful.
