Allison and I went to see "Come From Away" at the Cadillac Palace Theater last night. She won the theater lottery (we've been lucky) and we had good seats, Row L, left.
The show was based on a true story of 9-11 when 7,000 passengers on about 40 planes had to land and stay in Gander, a small town in Newfoundland and how the residents welcomed them. It was a little hard to understand at times with the accents the actors used, but we understood most of it. We both liked it and parts gave us chills.
On 9/11, the world stopped. On 9/12, their stories moved us all.
