Trunk or Treat

This was our Trunk or Treat set-up for the church's Halloween event yesterday. Several people said we had the best decorations. I think L's spider lights put us over the top even if we weren't able to plug them in. We did have our bluetooth speaker in the trunk playing Halloween songs.
Andy and I were dressed up for awhile (He's wearing the Scream face). It was a little hard to breathe with the fabric mask and the Halloween mask.
This was the whole set up - socially distanced in the parking lot. We had 11 cars participating and had at least 50 kids come through.
We just set the candy on a blanket and told the kids to take one. Certainly was easy trick-or-treating for them with no steps and no doorbell-ringing. Pretty nice day for Halloween in Chicago.
My artsy picture with the hanging spiders.
Here's how others decorated. This is L's friend, R. Her mom planned the event and brought most of the decorations. The skeleton we had was from her.
And our youth pastor's car.
We didn't want to hand out candy at home so we printed out this sign provided online by the village. Worked like a charm. I might have to save it for next year.
