L brought home a scarecrow from school a couple of years ago and it's been sitting inside our front door since because every time fall rolls around, the ground is too hard to stand the scarecrow up. I set it out by the trash the other day and put a "free" sign on it, hoping someone would give it a good home before trash day came. As I was driving to the grocery store the other day, I saw it stuck in what's left of a snowbank about two blocks from our house. I'm guessing some middle school students took it for a walk. At least it has a new home.
