Fancy cookies
This afternoon I rolled, cut and baked too many dozen sugar cookies for Irving's Cookie Crumble on Saturday. L and B each are expected to bring five dozen cookies. I probably would have had 10 dozen of these cookies if I didn't keep busting off the heads and legs when I was lifting them from the pan.
After they baked, I dipped part of them in chocolate and sprinkled on candy cane bits. Even broken, they taste good! I amazed myself by getting them finished before the kids came home from school. And an added surprise - I looked out the window to see snow flurries.
